This beautiful new selection has the same flower power and soft, graceful stems of other Chiffon varieties, but with large, lacy, soft pink flowers. The wonderful clear pink color is very distinctive in late summer gardens. Excellent backdrop to mixed borders, as a specimen plant or trained into a small tree. Young plants are well suited to containers. Deciduous.
This first introduction praises the true heart and integrity of Anna, lady’s maid to Lady Mary Crawley in NBC-Universal’s popular Downton Abbey drama series. The unique color combination of golden petals with a pink blush and glowing bronze reverse is a fitting representation of Anna’s character. Elegant blossoms surrounded by glossy, green foliage, exude a spicy, fruit fragrance. This graceful plant includes strong blossom stems for bouquets in the parlor.
Elegant long buds of cream begin to 'frost' with blushes of corally orange as they spiral open. But this one doesn't melt in your hands, it holds on to the plant for a great display of color and flower power...big clusters held high for all to see. Very good disease resistance means her 'wrapper' of green stays handsome in the garden for a full season of scrumptiousness.
