Leaves emerge gray-red in spring and mature to fuzzy, bright yellow-orange leaves with purple-red undersides. Tiny light pink flowers bloom on 18" stalks in early summer. Plant in sun or shade, in good organic soil for water retention. Tolerant to hot and humid summers. Use in the rock garden, for borders and path edging or in open woodland gardens.
